You don't have an SSN or ITIN

And the IRS online application is unavailable to you.

A small SS-4 error can add weeks or months to your timeline.

You're juggling LLC formation, banking, and tax setup

Outsource the EIN piece so you can focus elsewhere.

You've been quoted high prices elsewhere

Transparent pricing, one-time fees, no upsells.

A previous EIN attempt got stuck or rejected

We specialize in diagnosing and recovering stalled applications.

You need banking-ready EIN documentation

We prepare confirmation in the format Mercury, Wise, and Payoneer expect.

Why this is hard alone

Getting an EIN as a non-U.S. founder is full of small traps

The IRS process wasn't designed with international applicants in mind. Most rejections and multi-month delays come from a handful of avoidable mistakes.

Common pitfalls

What usually goes wrong when filing alone

  • Doing it yourself: 6+ hours of research and a 50% chance of an SS-4 error.
  • Law firms: often several hundred dollars or more for the same SS-4.
  • Generic formation services: EIN included but rarely prioritized — and slow to respond if anything goes wrong.
  • Freelancers on marketplaces: cheap, but no accountability if your application gets rejected.

Our approach

How we prevent each of those problems

  • Fixed-fee, transparent pricing — no hourly billing surprises.
  • Specialists who file SS-4s weekly, not occasionally.
  • Direct email contact with the person handling your case — not a ticketing queue.
  • Free resubmission if the IRS does not assign your EIN.
Our approach

What we actually do for you

  1. Onboarding

A short intake form, then a specialist confirms your case fits the service and outlines a clear plan with timing and pricing.

  2. Preparation & filing

Your SS-4 is prepared, you approve it, and we file it with the IRS. We handle the actual submission so you don't need a U.S. fax line.

  3. Tracking & delivery

Email updates as the application moves through IRS processing. Your EIN confirmation is delivered with banking-readiness notes.

IRS-published details

How the IRS accepts applications from outside the U.S.

Applicants whose business is based outside the U.S. can’t use the IRS online tool. These are the three channels the IRS lists for them. You can use any of them yourself — the EIN is free.

IRS EIN application channels for international applicants
Phone+1 267-941-1099 (not toll-free)Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m. EasternEIN issued during the call if the application is complete
Fax+1 304-707-9471 from outside the U.S. · 855-215-1627 from within the U.S.Any timeGenerally within 4 business days (IRS Fax-TIN target)
MailInternal Revenue Service, Attn: EIN International Operation, Cincinnati, OH 45999—Approximately 4 weeks
  • Line 7b without an SSN or ITIN. Enter “foreign” or N/A if the responsible party doesn’t have, and is ineligible to obtain, an SSN or ITIN.
  • Daily limit. The IRS issues only one EIN per responsible party per day, across all application methods. Don’t send duplicate applications while you wait.
  • Form the LLC first. An LLC or corporation should be formed with its state before applying, or the EIN application may be delayed.

IRS timings are the IRS’s own targets. In practice, fax and mail applications from outside the U.S. often take longer — and an application with an error may get no reply at all, which is the problem our review is designed to prevent.

Realistic timeline

What to expect, week by week

The IRS determines its own processing times, which may vary depending on application volume. Faxed applications requiring a response by mail can take 1–3 months to process. We simplify the process by following up with the IRS on your behalf and keeping you informed of your application status. Once your EIN is assigned, we notify you promptly. While processing times cannot be guaranteed, we strive to make the experience as smooth and straightforward as possible.

  1. Day 1 · Intake

You share details and documents. Specialist confirms fit and quote.

  2. Within 2–3 business days · SS-4 draft

Draft prepared and shared with you for approval.

  3. On your approval · Filing

Submitted to the IRS via the correct channel for your case.

  4. Weeks 1–2 · IRS processing & follow-up

We check your application status with the IRS; most clients receive their EIN within 1–2 weeks (the IRS’s own fax target is 4 business days).

  5. After issuance · Delivery

EIN confirmation forwarded with next-steps notes.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions from non-U.S. applicants

If your question isn't here, contact us — we'll answer honestly, even if the answer is 'this isn't a fit for our service.'

What's included in the service?

Document review, SS-4 preparation, IRS submission, status tracking, EIN delivery, and banking-readiness guidance. No surprise add-ons or hourly billing.

How much does it cost?

We have three packages: EIN Review ($25), Filing Assistance ($99) and Banking Readiness ($149). Exact recommendation depends on your case. See our pricing page for full details.

How is this different from a registered agent service?

A registered agent receives mail on behalf of your LLC and is required by state formation rules. Most don't prepare or file EIN applications — that's a different service entirely, which is what we provide.

Do you also help with LLC formation?

No — we focus on EIN applications. If you need help forming the LLC itself, we can refer you to formation services we trust. Most clients arrive after their LLC is already formed.

What if I'm not happy with the service?

If we haven't filed yet, we'll issue a full refund. After filing, the SS-4 work is complete — but we stand behind it: if the IRS does not assign your EIN, we resubmit at no charge.
