Important
EINNumber.io is a private service provider. We are not affiliated with the IRS, U.S. Department of the Treasury, or any government agency. We are not a law firm, CPA firm, or bank. The IRS issues EINs free of charge to those who apply directly. Our fees cover professional preparation, review, filing assistance, and ongoing support — not the EIN itself. Timelines depend on IRS processing and cannot be guaranteed.
1. Not affiliated with the IRS
EINNumber.io is a private business operating independently of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and any other government agency. We do not represent the IRS, are not authorized to act in any official IRS capacity, and have no special access to IRS systems or personnel beyond what is publicly available.
2. EINs are free from the IRS
The IRS issues Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) free of charge to anyone who applies directly using Form SS-4. You can apply yourself by phone (international applicants), fax, mail, or (if eligible) the IRS online tool at irs.gov. Our fees cover professional preparation, review, filing assistance, and ongoing support — not the EIN itself.
3. Not a law firm, CPA firm, or bank
We are not attorneys, certified public accountants, enrolled agents, or licensed financial institutions. We do not provide legal advice, tax advice, or financial planning. If you require advice in those areas, you should consult an appropriately licensed professional.
4. No guaranteed timelines
IRS processing times are set by the IRS and vary based on workload, application complexity, and other factors outside our control. While we will do everything reasonable to minimize avoidable delays, we cannot and do not guarantee:
- That your EIN will be issued by any specific date
- That the IRS will not request additional information
- That any timeline cited in our marketing materials applies to your specific case
5. No guarantee of bank or platform approval
Receiving an EIN is a prerequisite for, but not a guarantee of, approval by U.S. banks (Mercury, Relay, etc.) or payment platforms (Stripe, PayPal, etc.). These third parties apply their own KYC, AML, and business-line policies. We help prepare documentation that meets these parties’ published requirements — we cannot guarantee approval.
6. Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to keep website content (including blog posts, FAQs, and pricing) accurate and up to date. However, IRS procedures, fees, and platform policies change. We do not warrant that all information on this website is accurate, complete, or current at any given moment.
7. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those websites. A link does not constitute endorsement.
8. No attorney-client or accountant-client relationship
Engaging our services does not create an attorney-client relationship, accountant-client relationship, or any other fiduciary relationship. All work is performed as ordinary business services and is not protected by attorney-client privilege or similar protections.
9. Contact
If you have questions about this disclaimer or want to confirm anything before engaging our services, email support@einnumber.io. We will respond within one business day.
